I have them on my '89 Westy, my '78 Crew Cab, and my '76 Fiat Spider. Before that I had them on my '76 Westy and my '85 Westy. In all the years I've used KYB's I've always been satisfied with them, and feel comfortable recommending them. They're a bit stiffer than the OEM Boges, but they handle a bit better (particularly when it comes to cornering), cost a third as much, and carry a lifetime warranty. I've only had three customers ever need to take advantage of that warranty, and that's out of maybe a couple of sets sold every single day. The only shocks I like better are the Bilsteins, which seem to combine the best attributes of both the KYB's and the Boges. If the price had been the same I'd have bought the Bilsteins in a heartbeat, but for the difference (nearly fourfold) I "settled" for the KYB's, and for the price (around $100 for a set of four) I'm quite satisfied. I would say that they are an excellent value, even if admittedly not the absolute best shock yoy can buy. Of course, I also sell the Boges and Bilsteins, so as always it's your money, your van, and your choice...
