I don't want them, but I would like some measurements off a set of 2.1 pistons if somebody has a set laying about. Basically I want to know the pin height, and roughly the dish volume of a set of 2.1 pistons. For pin height just from the top surface of the piston to the top of the pin hole with a dial caliper is more than sufficent and the pin diameter with the same. I just want rough here, not looking for exact, should take about 30 seconds to measure.

Now the dish volume would be a bit more, I'm not desiring a plate and measure but if you had a big old horse syringe and could give me a rough idea I'd appreciate it.

Anyway I'm toying with trubocharging a 1.9 for an interesting application and it occured to me that the 2.1 pistons probably are 2-3 mm shorter pin height as well as having a bigger dish, so if I could simply bolt a set of 2.1 P&C's on top of the 1.9 case and crank I should arrive at about 7.5:1 CR if I'm guessing things correctly. Unfortunately I tossed my last used set of junk 2.1 pistons a few years ago in a move so I don't have anything to measure. If anyone knows whether or not the 2.1 stuff will bolt in or not, that info would be appreciated as well. I don't think the pin diameter changed but I'm not 100% sure. Anyone who has a junk 2.1 piston laying about that would send it to me if I pay shipping, that would be wonderful too.

Anyone know off hand what the difference is between 1.9 and 2.1 heads BTW, I have a new set of 2.1 heads I intend to use on the thing, I believe the 2.1 are simply a smaller pocket but I haven't taken the 1.9 apart yet for a look.
