Toni wrote Do ratio rockers really add a noticeable amount of horsepower to 1.9L or 2.1L? What is the increase? What about chipping and ratio rockers? Does torque curve change and peak increased?Just asking Malibu Tony 85' Westy 1.9L 6 degrees BTDC 78' 911SC Targa Mr Malibu Toni I will be testing the ratio rockers next week on a chassis dyno and comparing them to stock thanks to Derek Drew for providing me with the ozy chip and a set of ratio rockers I had originally lined up dyno time to fine tune and compare the big valve engine in my 84 camper to the stock 2.1 engine in my 84 7 passenger (blue bell) I will be adding rockers and testing them alone and adding the chip after that on my 89 I also may have a tiico conversions for dyno day but the fellow that owns it tells me his wife is due and he does not want to be far away from home if things are coming to a head ( pun intended ) I will do as much testing as my money and time allows the big valve engine in my camper really likes the extra timing It was at tdc and is now at 5 or 6 before tdc. I will be posting the results on my web page Bob Donalds Boston engine
