If I let the car idle for a good half hour the temp guage does rise to a little less than midway so I assume the gauge is working. Also around town the guage will rise slightly. Is there a problem that can arise from not running hot enough?" I live in Salt Lake and we've had highs in the 30's for a month or so and my temp guage NEVER gets above the bottom "peg" on the guage. It will move up in city traffic, stop 'n go, but most of my driving is fwy. Did the same last winter but in the summer it moves up to the red light area on the guage. Bob Stevens '91 Westy |
