Just ordered the right outer tie rod end for my Westy from Ron. They don't list an inner rod in his catalog. Does anyone know if it is necessary to replace them both. I went to have my front end aligned today and they showed me irrefutable evidence of the need to replace the tie rod. Right wheel moves almost an inch at the tread point and I could see the rod end joint slop. They recommended replacing both inner and outer. Any comments? Bob Stevens '91 Westy mtbiker62@attbi.com |
