<Stan Wilder Writes; "Unleaded fuel in the Cities is full of anti pollutant compounds ( water )" Bwa , Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, !!! Sorry Stanley, not this time---> Sorry, Terry but Stan is probably correct. One of the cheapest anti pollutant additives is ethyl alcohol (up to 10% hereabouts). Alcohol adsorbs water. That is why we add alcohol to prevent frozen gas lines here in the north. This 10% alcohol content lets the gas supplier slip some water in without any noticeable side effects except lower power and poorer gas mileage. <Crazy men have been trying to get the internal combustion engine to run on water for 100 years--guess what--- it don't work.> It do, it do, really. -Larry |
