Vanaguys & Vanagirls, Everyone knows that Cyl. Head Change inteval is roughly 80,000 miles for a Wasserboxer and CV joints are good for 80-100,000 unless contaminated with dirt or salt (torn boot or lost clamps). With all the front wheel bearing (FWB) discusssion going on I was wondering if everyone who had replaced original front wheel bearings could report the mileage the FWB's needed replacement. This would help others to plan ahead. WesV '85 Wolfsburg Westy Weekender @130,000 on original FWB's |
