Hi All, FWIW My first engine went at 93,000 miles and I only used 91 octane... which cost me about 30 cents more a gallon and the van gets about 19 mile to the gallon so it cost me about $1500 more in gas for the first engine. the second engine went at 127,000 and I only used regular, so now I saved about $2000 by not buying 91 octane gas, (ergo.... the new engine only now costs $2000. $4000 for the engine minus the gas cost savings). All in all, if you use regular all the time.... every other engine is FREE! Jere 90 GL 88 GL |
