Yes this is a bit of a laugh. I never use spellcheck so I dont run into that particular set of problems. Besides, who said the Microsoft spellcheck programmers could spell. Place names in different languages are often spelt differently depending upon the language spoken rather than the local spelling. Hence London is spelt Londres in french. Ypres in flemish is spelt Leper ...yada yada. Simple fact is that the VW conversion is named for a german region. Its built in Germany so a german spelling is used . The english spelling, at least the british spelling, for that infamous german region is Westphalia.
