The heater system does not need any help getting bleed if the hoses are
flowing the water in the right direction. Elimination of that plug is a
blessing. It has a nasty habit of having the head snap filling the back
of the van with coolant.

Dennis, after you have run it a while, why not park it facing down hill
on a steep grade and give it a run for a bit. If there is any more air
in the system, it will begin to collect in the expansion tank. Then you
can deal with it easily.
