Here's one strategy, other listees may have others:

1. Connect the battery to an ammeter (in series) - this should detect the leakage current. (Don't start the van!)

2. Then start removing fuses until the leakage current stops.

3. The last fuse you removed is the fuse that protected the cicuit that was leaking current.

4. Then, trace that circuit to identify the problem.

Okay, I know this is a VERY hard to diagnose problem, but my battery is draining over time, and if it sits more than about 12 hours, it won't crank the motor... What has everyone's similar experiences been? Just looking for starting places!
