Hey Tom,

I read the whole lot of documents including the JCL
(job control language) info available from the list
server itself, which was the most in-depth.
It seems that the "// job" and "// EOJ" are not
enough. You still need to add a comma at the end of
line and other weird stuff. Still, it doesn't
work...:-(
Anyway, I tried the web search as per your
recommendation and indeed it's a completely new world:
quick and fast, and has a subject search just like I
like it. The only drawback I can find is that you
don't get those archived messages via email for
offline reading. Very convenient for very large search
results. So I might still try to break that email
search barrier someday.
BTW, the server upgrade really turbo-charged the
archive searches, also via email. It's now lighning
fast!
