Someone in Eastern Ontario has a dark blue Vanagon. 1989?) (automatic, ac) with 2 sliding doors. I saw this Vanagon at the Embrun Volkswagen show 2 years ago.

At BusFusion in Almonte this year there was a Eurovan (1992?) with 2 sliding doors. The owner lives in Montreal.

At first, I wasn't sure why it caught my eye until one of the mechanic's told me that it was a European model. The reason it had caught my eye was the fact that it was a dual-slider, sliding doors on both sides. And to boot it was an 11 (or 12) passenger model. I can't imagine that it would have been too comfortable for the people who had to climb in the back, but think of the road trips! > > Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had seen one of the dual-sliders before and if they were common anywhere. > > Brian > 1973 Beetle (Freckles) > 1985 Vanagon (Pokey) > -- > > __________________________________________________________________ > Your favorite stores, helpful shopping tools and great gift ideas.
