Subject: Tire Question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

Dear friends:

I currently have 6 month old Uniroyal Laredo AWP (195 75/14) tires on the front of my 84 Vanagon Camper. I need to replace my rear tires and am thinking of getting Bridgestone Dueler A/T D693 for added snow and off-road traction. Can you advise me about the following:

1. Is it bad for road handling to mix tire types like this?

2. What pressure do you recommend for these tires for best wet road handling?

3. Do you advise rotating these tires for longer life? ( I would put the Bridgestones on the front during the summer months)

Thanks for your input and happy holidays, Michael Sheridan
