In order to use the ABA FPR, I think you'd have to change out the injectors and the fuel rail. IIRC, the ABA FPR sits in the end of the fuel rail, not remotely mounted like the WBX. because the ABA FPR sits at the end of the fuel rail, it requires a different fuel rail. Because of the different fuel rail, our injectors can't be used. The better bet would be an adjustable FPR, but what to set it to? The FI manual for the TiiCo says the fuel pressure at idle should be 36psi (2.5 bar) w/vacuum and 43.5psi (3 bar) w/o vacuum, vs. the WBX is 29psi w/vacuum and 34psi or so w/o vacuum.

The problem is that the 2 manuals (WBX Bently vs. RSA Golf/Jetta/"TiiCo") use different FPRs and injectors to get their fuel pressure readings. I assume that switching the injectors and FPR to the Golf/Jetta unit's would yield optimum results, but that would be a rather pricey endeavor.

One thing that I'm going to try, is the CB Performance adjustable FPR.

I also got the Ross-Tech s/w and cable. I took my van to a local speed shop and he hooked his VAG 1552 to my ECU. he looked at the fuel trim and said that it was quite a bit off of what it should be. One thing I've wanted to do since then is compare fuel trim readings with other TiiCo owners. This is found in Display group 09. To get here, start the engine running, go into the engine module in VAG-COM, then go to "meas. blocks." Once there, input 09 for the Display group.

There should be 4 boxes with numbers in them. I need the info from all 4 boxes. The first is instantaneous, second is idle, then part throttle, and finally full throttle.
