Subject: flashing coolant light
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi All,

My '87 Westy is giving a bit of trouble and I am hoping for some help determining the problem. When I warm her up at the start of the day, her coolant light comes on after a couple of minutes. If I turn off the engine and restart her, sometimes the light will stay off. This just started a couple of days ago. Today while driving to work, the gauge kept creeping up until it was almost to the top then the light came on. I shut her down and restarted. The gauge went down to normal and the light remained off. I just had the heads replaced two months ago along with a new radiator, and thermostat. Any ideas? When I check it, the coolant level is fine. Thanks in advance for any help. Jen Loerzel Karma Rose '87 Westy Chicago, IL
