I read the info under head gasket leaks. I have a coolant leak (84 Westy with 70,000) which initial diagnosis by taking off air filter and seeing coolant coming out where stud is.. is hairline fracture or rare possibility that touquing might fix. Does this mean I will be out a couple of thousand of dollars? Does it also mean that I should have other side rebuilt which means more $? Any advise will help? I read the info on VW arbitration but assume my vehicle is too old for that?
