The problem with the dual post sender is the PSI preset. The original o.p. sender was made just for your vanagon and the VDO stuff is made to fit anything. The original is best, IMHO. You can always run both and just have a secondary idiot light. I saw a neat Autometer round gage with 8 different positions. This allows you to have 8 different senders on one gage! Nice for cyl head temps or different water temps on our 3 miles of water lines.
