Mike you have to take the relay out and test it, or trace the wiring, or both. The 86 terminal goes to alternator D+ (the idiot light circuit, pin 11 on the panel connector) and 85 goes to ignition switch terminal 50. With the engine running *and alternator charging* you should see +12v at 86 and something very near ground at 87. 30 is wired to the main battery, and 87 to the aux battery. You need continuity on both. Whatever the problem is, it's simple... david
