Hi All: I use LIBERAL amounts of dishwashing soap on the new bushing, like mounting a car tire. Don't use silicone or lithium grease - these will not dry out fast enough and the bushing *may* not stay seated. The bushings are tough, and can take a surprising amount of deformation. Use a large vise and line things up, then squeeze away like a 20 ton press. You may need to use a socket and push slightly past the centered point, then press the opposite direction and position it correctly. Whilst the arms are out, maybe it's time to do other services, like rear bearings or??? Randy Bergum 1990 Carat
