P mail him with any questions. usual disclamers Bob Donalds Available: '87 Vanagon Syncro GL, 2nd owner, have all maintenance receipts since new. Burgundy red (original paint) with very nice tan interior, weekender rear seat (folds to bed), 2-person middle bench seat, factory AM/FM cassette, power steering, non-functioning A/C, trailer hitch. Typical seam rust, very sound structurally and underneath, dent in upper front nose (previous owner bumped a jeep with rear mounted spare tire), other miscellaneous scratches and dents. Recent work includes new u-joints and balancing of drive shaft, exhaust pipes and muffler, front brakes and rotors, clutch. Good sidewall-reinforced Michelin tires with lots of miles left. Includes Bentley manual. Total mileage about 200k with 100k on engine, Trans and engine were rebuilt with previous owner. Runs and drives well, uses VERY LITTLE coolant or oil (I check them, but hardly ever have to top off), excellent in snow! Asking $2500 or best offer, pictures available, located in Boston, MA area.
