Does anyone have a reference for an importer? >> Dan, If you go to my DMV Resource page, you will find links to government entities which are responsible for these matters. The DOT site specifically will have the links to all the current Registered Importers (RI). Keep in mind that I designed the links around importing a vehicle from Europe. NAFTA countries like Canada & Mexico are easier to import from and as such, I did not feel a need to dwell on too much. You can still get info for those countries as well as the rest of the world by navigating thru the DOT and, EPA and Customs websites.
