VW made up for it in the Non-A/C jettas of the mid-eighties..I was commenting
on how easy the fan motor was to remove to my buddy as we were riding down
the street in his 86..he scoffed..until I reached under the dash unplugged
and twisted and handed him his heater motor...<grin>
