When the throttle switch is made up at wide open throttle, yes.

Otherwise the 02 sensor should adjust it back to 14.7 to 1.

I have mine set at .78mv open loop, but the 02 still bops above and below .5 in closed loop.

But who knows, maybe the ecu is slow to adjust during normal acceleration.

Too bad dyno time is $100 an hour.

The Bosch FI book has a test they run to see if the ecu can handle a rich mixture. They disconnect the vacuum from the fuel pressure regulator so it goes high. Then they watch to see if the ecu will bring the mixture back to normal. If it does then the open loop is set right for stock .
