Dave, If it were me, I'd go ahead and wire the tach in where it's going to live, I consider a tach an essential piece of equipment! Tell me about a garage! Here in Hartford it's about 22 degrees in the sun, after wind chill factor...too cold to go out and play with my van. Doug '90 GL
