Subject: Re-plumbing the heater cores
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I am going to be replacing all of my heater hoses, front and rear heater cores, and front heater valve soon and wondered about connecting the heater cores in series instead of in parallel as they were originally designed. I could eliminate both "T" fittings at the rear heater core, the control valve for the rear heater and all the associated connection points. The front heater valve would control the flow through both heater cores. I currently use my front heater very little and can only use the rear one for short periods since its temperature level isn't adjustable from the drivers seat.

Any thoughts, pro or con would be appreciated.
