Thanks for the link Dennis! I had searched and searched and never found a metric one of these gizzmos. The threads were messed up to start with -- this was a "new" rebuilt alternator from Bus Depot that people already told me should have come with pulley and a nut (it came with neither). After searching and finally finding a nut, the metric fastener place informed me that the thread was messed up about 2-3 turns down. Unfortunately, I had left the alternator sitting in the box for over a year before trying to install it so there's little I can do that try to fix it.
