Subject: in dash MP3 player??

The Aiwa CDC-MP32 player I installed last summer allows navigation by moving forward and backward by song and by folder (read directory). By this I mean that if when you burn your CD-ROM full of music you put each alblum in it own directory, you will be able to jump either to the next (or previous) song or to the first song in the next (or previous) directory. If the MP3 song is encoded with an ID3 tag (usually the name of the alblum and song), it can be displayed on the front of the player.

There are certainly better players available than the Aiwa. I am not fond of the tiny buttons which only a Japanese teenager could love. I do like the steering wheel mounted infrared remote. I use this constantly to switch from FM to CD-MP3 and to skip through the songs. This player also turns its face into a blank panel when the power is removed.
