Cost from bus depot was 88.00 dollars for molding for the entire van, that's
the front window, rear window, and all four side windows.  I spaced the project
out over a whole summer, doing a window at a time when I had the chance.  I
probably put 3 or 4 hours into it.  It was a bitch, but I got it done
eventually, and was quite proud of my work.  The first two windows I did were
really the hardest.  By the time I got to the front windshield, the process
only took me about 20 minutes.  How many times did I swear? Quite a few,
especially when I stuck the soap covered screwdriver I was using to pry open
the rubber groove, into my hand.  I wasn't aware of  tool that could be used,
but I sure wished I had one!  Anyhow, I think the van looks great now.  It
really stands out around here.  Very very few vanagons exist in these parts,
and even fewer have fresh spiffy chrome moulding.

Is it a pain? yes.
Is it worth it? for me, yes.
