I've driven Westfalia with 14x195 and 14x205 tires and I can't see a lot of difference in the handling. I'm running 14x185 Michelin Agilis 51 tires and I think they are great. Much better than any other Michelin I've ever used. I'd think that if you stick to a C or D range tire at 185 to 205 you're going in the right direction. I've seen tires that are termed *aggressive tread* and the tread wear is not normal, seems that they eat away either on the outside or inside edges. I can't quote the sizes of these tires but I don't think they would be good for your suspension.
