The aerodynamic Porsche DP935 (like a 911 Turbo, but a race car for the street with) topped out at 165. The owner of the bus is suffering from modification-induced optimism.

Now let's talk about collector's value of the vehicle. Does anyone have $.02?

170mph in a modified vw bus?? come on, gimme a break!!! even that engine would be straining at the gills to push that thing through the air at that speed!!! sheesh! :)
