Subject: Need Tiico Fuel Rail Help
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Help! Today I found a big ol' puddle of gas under my van. Much to my dismay, the fuel rail on my Tiico has been rubbing on the intake setup, and finally wore through. Damn! Now I am an explosion waiting to happen. (I guess this is where I say 'check your rails' to the other list members and let them learn from my mistake. A simple piece of rubber or plastic around it would have saved it.) Rather than sit and wait for a replacement from the other side of the world, does anyone know a fix with usual junkyard or hardware store parts? I've seen other posts where folks have used the rails from Golfs or Jettas -- would anyone who has done that mail me and let me know how it worked out? Please?? Also, anyone who has done anything as a temporary fix, please help me out.

Thanks a bunch Bill Marshall 85 GL/Tiico 'Molotov Cocktail' Phoenix AZ
