There is always a way to get parts by drilling down deep enough in the
supply chain to find them. The Internet might help and it would help to have
your own resale number (free in CA) needed to conduct business & get
wholesalers to sell to you.
I don't know of an alternate supplier. Since most suppliers will not carry
parts with low volume sales it is not worth their while. But it is worth
your while if you need the parts.
In my work I have often had to go beyond a dealer or supplier to a
wholesaler or even a manufacturer to get what I needed. The only problem I
have encountered is that some sources just will not sell to individuals if
you are not set up as a business.
The parts are out there and maybe even a niche if someone wants to serve as
a source. It will just take effort and time to find them. Some sources
won't, but anyone can. And it always helps to be polite. Courtesy does
wonders.
I don't need the parts but I can assure you that if I did I would find them.
My $.02 worth.
Good luck in your efforts.
