I've got one mounted in my van. I mounted it, face pointing almost straight up, in front of the shifter (manual). I screwed the bracket right through he carpet and took power from the little light above the glove box and ran the antenna wire under the carpet and out the sliding window behind the driver.

Question, Does anybody have a CB rig in their van? I've picked up a nice Cobra, but unless it gets mounted in a center console, can't see a way to make it readily accessable. (have an auto, and dash console from EuroCamper's) Thanks, Doug '90 GL
