NUTS !! Appling the parking brake when the ass end is already coming around, will gaurantee a down hill spiral---and there will be no way of saving it---Your done. Those of you who are running rock hard Michelin tires, with big air pressure in them, with the thought of keeping the sidewalls from flexing, should re-think, the method's to your madness---lowering the tire pressure a tad will offer better traction on the white stuff. Also I have found, that durring the winter month's, adding 4 or 5 plastic 80 Lb. bags of water softer salt in front of the rear seat on the floor, adds enough weight transfer down low in front of the axle, to give the rear end plenty of bite----- And if you do get stuck, open a bag of salt, and throw it under the tire that's spinning--it'll get you out. In the spring I sell the bags to a buddy of mine who has a water softener--a no pain deal. If this doesn't work---buy a set of tracks for your Van---- Later, ______________ |[ ] [ ] [ ]\ | | | | ~~~ ~||-(())----(())-| Terry-- "Zoom, Zoom, Zoom" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
