Scott, remove the bumper and you will see 4 groups of three holes on the submount. These are the stock aux. light mounting spots. VW used a sort of zigzag bend bit of steel that attached to these holes (via threaded inserts) and it zigzagged back and up between the bumper and body. I bent my own bit of metal and used the outer most groups of three holes, was able to access the inside of the bumper submount (from holes in the bottom) so I did not need to use threaded inserts. D. Marshall I thinks still sells the stock bits. Alistair
