My parents, now both in their 80's, own a 1984 Vanagon Westfalia 4spd (original owners) and a 1987 Vanagon Wolfsberg automatic. I was instrumental in their getting the automatic last spring just in case my mother had to drive in an emergency. The Westy has approx. 130K on the original engine, is in good shape but could use a younger owner and some TLC (slight rust starting on some seams). The Wolfsberg has a rebuilt engine with approx 100K on it and approx 160K total miles. The Wolfsberg has the rear facing jump seats, table and rear bed. My parents have now decided to sell both vehicles. I couldn't get them to commit to a price but they would probably sell for $4500 each. I have some pictures (taken in December) which I can email and can answer most questions so call me first. I can refer you to them if you are serious. Vans are located near Bloomsbury, NJ (western part of the state about 80 miles north of Philadephia, PA. If interested, drop me an email. (I've owned an 85, 87, and currently an 89 Vanagon (GL's and now the Wolfsberg) so I'm somewhat fluent in "VW". Ken Hartz |
