I used the same stuff in my Golf to sound deaded under the back seat and in the trunk. Works well - the only place I had problems was doing the vertical sides of the spare tire well. Didn't work all that well. Also, I did mine on a warm day in the summer (+25*C which is actually a hot day in Calgary, but warm everywhere else *smirk*) - a cooler day may have helped. But this stuff isn't very flexible when cold. FWIW I got a big huge roll (like I dunno - 90 lbs worth?) for a hundred bucks Canadian. I intend to do my Westy next winter once I have my garage built and can pull a bunch of the interior out.
