I was cruising down the Trans Canada Highway from Falcon Lake at 120km/h last week when all of a sudden my speedo needle starts bouncing around for a minute, finally settling at 0. Odometer is not working either. If my speedo cable were to break clean, would that happen? Or is it more likely that it got disconnected somewhere (hopefully at the speedometer itself?) I admit that I haven't started poking around yet but it's winter and I was hoping someone might know exactly the problem before i start taking things apart. Also, I must confess that I'm a bit lazy too. Thanks in advance! Jeff 85 Westfalia GL, auto Winnipeg |
