This has been discussed before, but some people think Moroso Ceramic sealant does the job. You can buy it from speed shops (I know, vanagon/speed shop doesn't compute). One snag with it is you have to flush the cooling system COMPLETELY, fill with plain water and the sealant, run till hot, drain, leave overnight, then refill. PITA with the vanagon cooling system. I just had a very slight leak in my head and put in a bottle of bars leak. It worked after I got the van warm and hasn't leaked yet. /Patrick On Fri, 11 Jan 2002, karen davis wrote: > my neighbor suggested Alumaseal as a maybe fix for my van's coolant leak. > Anyone tried this before or any other suggestions for a quick fix? > > _________________________________________________________________ > Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. > http://www.hotmail.com > |
