Bought a 71 breadloaf when I was 19 and drove it over 200K miles in 12 years. I would still have it if it hadn't rusted out. After going 3 years VW-less, I bought an 84 GL. That was 12 years and 175K miles ago. I'm not letting my GL rust away. Tim C. 84 GL
