Ken, Great idea! A life-saver for sure. I'd also highly recommend replacing your older accelerator cables too if you have them. It is *not* fun when you get stuck at full throttle! Most newer replacement cables have Teflon coated cables inside the tube, so even if water gets in the tube and freezes, the cable should slide free. Other fun cold weather items are brake slave cylinders with worn rubber seals that work fine until they contract in the cold weather and pop out and leak. On that same vein, one of the worst things to have to replace in the dead of winter is a clutch slave cylinder, way up on the top of the tranny. Replace that when you do the brakes, and be sure to flush *both* systems.
