I've searched the archives for help on rear speaker removal, but have found no helpful information. The '87 speakers are held in with screw-on retaining rings. The front speaker removal is no problem because I can reach the retaining ring to keep it from turning, but the rear rings are seemingly inaccessible because of the AC housing. When I turn the speaker, it spins freely because the retaining ring tabs don't bite on anything. I don't want to destroy the speaker housing... George Becker e-mail: George.Becker@sce.com |
