Jaguar's Daimler is not related to DaimlerChrysler's Daimler, except that
they both had connections to Gottlieb Daimler about 110 years ago...

The British Daimler started out being a British agent for Daimler's engine
and grew into a car company, being owned over the years by BSA, Jaguar, and
now Ford.
