Hey,

I just installed a one wire type on mine that I got from Napa. My vanagon is a 83.5, 84 model year. I don't think you should ground it. I ran my beast for a couple a years without it. Not on purpose. I think you could expect less performance, fuel economy and the works. It should run however.

What can I expect from my engine if it is run without the o2 sensor? Will it run satisifactorily? Should I do anything with the lead (IE ground it or...??)

Which replacemnt to buy, the 1 wire type or the factory type?

Thanks and Regards,

Rio
