Forgive me coming in late to the party, and catching the tale end of good news. Can some one p-mail the facts on this thread?

Namely, is Chrysler FINALLY going to import the MB Marco Polo Vito or just the Sprinter? Since Chrysler part(?) owns Westfalia, I was thinking this would be a shoo-in.

My recollection of the tariff that killed importation of the Westfalia would not preclude Chrysler from bringing prepped bodies into the country, and completing final assembly here with Westfalia parts. To me, the Marco Polo is a much cooler vehicle, even if it lacks the shower etc.

AFAIK the MB Sprinter (no matter how badged) in the USA comes ONLY with "...the 154-horsepower five-cylinder inline turbocharged diesel engine, which makes 243-pound feet of torque..."

I'm starting my JamesCook/MarcoPolo fund today!
