Yea!  I'm back on the road again.  For anyone curious, I took the crappy
aluminum fuel rail to a local welding shop and had them repair it.  They made
a big lumpy weld, and it ended up leaking through little pinholes in the
welds.  I didn't take it back, because I probably would have beaten the
welder with it.  So, I coated it liberally with JB Weld.  Never used it
before, but everyone seems to think it's magic.  I even put it in a toaster
oven to help speed the curing process.  Reinstalled again, and it works like
a charm and now I am an expert in installing them.  (I still don't trust it,
so eventually I will get a steel version made).  The van is ready just in
time for the weekend, and no more driving my wife's Jeep:

"Hey mister, nice Jeep!"
"Thanks, Kid!"  (hehehe couldn't resist)
