someone recently said:

<I have talked to Peter about the availability of just the components you mentioned and he says that he is not able to convince his suppliers to sell the needed parts piece meal. If the Intake, motor mounts and oil pan were available , there would be a lot more conversions. Even the ECU and harness should be available. Anyone who works on modern Audi's and VWs would have no problem with the Motronic managment system. Unfortunately unless you buy a kit you are not going to see these pieces. Anyone out there have alternate connections in SA?>

I now can supply complete new kits containing all the major parts needed for the 50-degree angle conversions. The kit contains all mounts and support bars, flywheel, engine adaptor plate (no need to swap to the TD tank in a Syncro), coolant hoses, oil pan and pump pickup, belts, coolant tank, etc etc. Very nice kit at $1600, all new parts! Just supply your engine of choice, wiring and computer if needed. I also can supply brand-new engines: the mechanically-controlled 1.9TDI, 1.9 NA diesel (impressive and simple!), and 1.8T turbo-gas AND 2.0T turbo-gas.
