The latest -

I took the van first to a dealer service area where he told me the fuel injection system is such a problem that the Santa Monica dealer (where this guy used to work) charged a minimum of $500 to look at it, and maybe they did too (Van Nuys area). I went to a mechanic across the street who also thought it was the fuel system, and said he would need it for two hours next week to trouble shoot it. The third shop I went to actually drove it, again said it was a fuel problem, mentioned the pump (which was replaced once before I got it) might be the problem as I changed the filter, and if not ther could be a problem anywhere from in the tank to the other end. He would need the car for two days. I looked into getting an O2 sensor and a new fuel pump but didn't buy either yet. This only happens after it has been running and is fully warmed up. Kind of reminds me of a vapor problem I had with my truck once, but....
