Yes, check the condition of your U-joints.

It is doubtful that a mere mortal would be able to detect the imbalance.

Unless the damper was also removed, there are only 4 "combinations" to try. But, that is a futile exercise because the driveshaft was not balanced in situ. If the driveshaft was separated at the rubber damper, it should be put together with the U-joints in phase. Check the condition of the front wheel bearings, CV-joints and center driveshaft U-joints.
